O R D E R
The petitioners before this Court are the landlords,
whose land was initially declared a surplus in ceiling
and which was subsequently allotted to other persons.
Later on, the order declaring the land as surplus was
set aside and therefore, the persons who were allotted
the land, which includes the land of the petitioners
declared as surplus, was to be reverted back to the
petitioners.
The persons who were allotted this land, had
challenged the order, first before the learned Single
Judge of the High Court, where the petition was
dismissed. Thereafter, in appeal, the Division Bench of

the High Court passed the order declaring that now the
order by which the land was declared surplus, has
itself been set aside, the allottees are not occupying the
land as surplus land, and this land has to be given to
the landlords. ...
