1. Leave granted.
2. The present appeal arises out of the impugned order
dated 11.07.2024 passed by the Circuit Bench of Calcutta
High Court at Jalpaiguri in CRM(A) No.492 of 2024, whereby
the application of the appellant seeking anticipatory bail
has been rejected by the High Court.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the
appellant that the appellant has cooperated with the
Investigating Officer in carrying out the investigation and
also produced the documents. However, the same has been
disputed by the learned counsel for the respondent – State.
4. Having regard to the nature of allegations, we are of
the opinion that the dispute being of civil nature, and no
custodial interrogation as such would be required, we are
inclined to accept the present appeal, without expressing
any opinion on the merits of the case.

5. In that view of the matter, it is directed that in
the event of arrest of the appellant in connection with FIR
No.224 of 2024 dated 23.05.2024 registered with Falakata
Police Station, District – Alipurduar, he shall be released
on bail on the terms and conditions that may be imposed by
the Trial Court.
