O R D E R
1. Leave granted.
2. The present appeal is arising out of the impugned
order dated 18.07.2024 passed by the High Court of Jammu &
Kashmir and Ladakh at Jammu, whereby the High Court has
vacated the interim protection of the appellants and
dismissed the application filed by them seeking
anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No.39/2023 dated
29.05.2023 registered with Police Station Amb Gharota,
Jammu.
3. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
4. So far as the appellant No.2 – Raffana Bibi, mother-
in-law of the prosecutrix and appellant No.3 – Naushad Ali,
husband of the prosecutrix are concerned, it is submitted
by the learned counsel for the respondent No.1 – State that
they are cooperating with the Investigating Officer,
however the appellant No.1 – father-in-law of the
prosecutrix is absconding.
5. The learned counsel for the respondent No.1 – State
states that he has no objection, if the protection granted
by this Court to the appellant Nos.2 and 3 vide the order

dated 27.08.2024 is made absolute.
6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned
