O R D E R

1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. Leave granted.

3. The challenge in this appeal is to the judgment and order dated 21.08.2015

passed by the High Court of Gujarat at Ahmedabad in Criminal Appeal No.2731 of

2008.

4. The appellant was convicted by the trial Court and was sentenced for life for

an offence punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code 1

and the said conviction and sentence has been upheld by the High Court by

means of the impugned judgment.

5. It may be pertinent to mention here that out of all the seven accused who

were put to trial, the appellant herein and one other were convicted and the five

other accused were acquitted by the trial Court.

6. There were four appeals before the High Court, two of them filed by the

convicts (accused Nos.6 and 7) including Criminal Appeal No.2731 of 2008 and

the two appeals were filed by the State of Gujarat. All the four appeals have been

decided by the common impugned judgment.
