O R D E R
1. A copy of the Settlement Agreement dated 19th
November, 2024 is placed on record. The Settlement
Agreement has been admittedly signed by both the parties
to the petitions, their respective Advocates, sister of
the respondent as well as the learned Mediator of the
Supreme Court Mediation Centre.
2. The marriage between the parties was solemnized on
12th December, 2016. From March, 2022, due to disputes and
differences, the parties are residing separately. The
parties have accepted that the marriage has been

irretrievably broken down. Therefore, they have prayed
for exercise of power of this Court under Article 142 of
the Constitution of India to dissolve the marriage. The
material terms and conditions of the Settlement Agreement
are as under:
1. “Whereas the marriage between the petitioner and respondent wife was solemnized as per Hindu rites and ceremonies on 12.12.2016 at Varanasi. After marriage parties resided together at Bangalore and there is no issue out of wedlock.
