O R D E R
Heard Mr. Smarhar Singh, learned counsel appearing for the
petitioner. Also heard Mr. Samir Ali Khan, learned counsel
appearing for the respondent nos. 1 to 4.
2. The newly impleaded respondents are taken on record.
3. Adverting to this Court’s order dated 22.02.2024, the learned
counsel for the petitioner submits that for the Award obtained by
the petitioner from the Arbitration Tribunal for a sum of
Rs.1,27,46,993/- (One Crore Twenty Seven Lakhs Forty Six Thousand
Nine Hundred and Ninety Three only) plus 10% interest per annum,
the Award Holder had earlier received Rs.75,00,000/- (Rupees
Seventy Five Lakhs only). This Court on 22.02.2024 therefore,
directed the Award Debtors to disburse the balance sum, payable
under the Award (dated 19.11.2013), within eight weeks from the
date of the Court’s order.
4. The learned counsel for the respondents in his turn then
refers to the office order dated 28.08.2024 (Annexure R-1), where
it is indicated that in light of the above order of this Court
(dated 22.02.2024), the sanction for payment of Rs.1,20,61,884/-
(One Core Twenty Lakhs Sixty One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty...
