1. By way of this petition, filed under Section 25
of the Code of Civil Procedure, the petitioner-wife is
seeking transfer of proceedings being M.C. No. 29 of
2024 titled “MR. MALI PATIL MADHUKAR RAO versus MRS.
MALI PATIL BHAGYA LAKSHMI” from the Court of the Senior
Civil Judge at Chincholi, Kalaburgi District, Karnataka
to the Court of the Senior Civil Judge at Proddatur,
Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh.
2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the
petitioner.
3. The learned Registrar of this Court, in its order
dated 28.11.2024, has recorded that the counsel for the
sole-respondent has not entered appearance though duly
served. Even today, when the matter is called out, none
is present for the respondent.
4. Hence, it appears that the sole-respondent has no
objection if the present petition is transferred, as
prayed for.

5. Under these circumstances, and even otherwise
also, having regard to the fact that two cases are
already pending before the Court at Andhra Pradesh and
the respondent has chosen not to appear before this
Court, we are inclined to accept the prayer for
transfer, as sought for.
