O R D E R
1. Leave granted.
2. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, we are of the considered view
that the Second Appeal bearing RSA-2513-2014 (O&M) title Mahabir Etc. vs.
Krishnan Etc. pending before the High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh can
be disposed of, which would be in the best interests of justice as also for the parties,
on the following terms :
(a) Since the High Court has admitted the appeal and issued notices
to the respondents therein, who are the respondents in the present
appeal, the appeal be taken on board and heard expeditiously;
(b) The present respondents who are the respondents in the High
Court undertake to enter appearance in the said appeal;
(d) The parties shall appear before the High Court on 14.01.2025 and
undertake to fully cooperate in the hearing of the appeal.
(e) Till the appeal is disposed of by the High Court, the parties shall
maintain status quo with regard to possession and title, as on date.

3. We request the High Court to take up the appeal and decide the same
expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from today.
4. The appeal is disposed of in the above terms. Pending application(s), if any,
shall stand disposed of.
