O R D E R
Heard Mr.Dinesh C.Pandey, learned counsel for the
appellants and Ms.Prerna Mehta, learned counsel for respondent
No.3-Insurer.
In the course of hearing, a suggestion was given to the
learned counsel for the appellants that if an additional
compensation of Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees three lakh fifty thousand
only), over and above the amount awarded by the High Court, is
given to the appellants whether the claim would be satisfied.
Learned counsel for the appellants submitted that the appellants
would be satisfied with the said additional compensation. Learned
counsel for respondent No.3-Insurer left it to the discretion of
the Court.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having
perused the materials on record, it is directed that respondent

No.3-Insurer shall deposit an additional compensation of
Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees three lakh fifty thousand only) before the
Tribunal within twelve weeks hence, which shall be disbursed in
favour of the legal representatives of the deceased in accordance
with the law laid down in the case of General Manger, Kerala State
Road Transport Corporation, Trivandrum v. Susamma Thomas (Mrs.) &
Ors., (1994) 2 SCC 176, on prope...
