O R D E R
1. The petitioner-wife seeks transfer of M.C.
No.135/2022, titled “Pradip Poria v. Juhi Poria” filed by
the respondent-husband seeking decree of divorce under
Section 13(1)(ia) & (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
The above-stated petition has been filed in the Court of
Principal Senior Civil Judge, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore,
Karnataka. The petitioner-wife seeks transfer thereof to
the Principal Judge, Family Court, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
2. The marriage between the parties was solemnized on
29.06.2012 at Durg, Chhattisgarh. They are blessed with
two children, namely, a son born on 11.08.2013 and a
daughter born in the year 2018. Both the children are
under the care and custody of the petitioner-wife.
3. While the petitioner-wife is stated to be
unemployed, the respondent-husband is working as Senior
Customer Service Agent in Singapore Airlines.
4. It appears that there has been a marital discord
between the parties since the year 2014, which eventually
led to filing of a complaint by the petitioner-wife in the

year 2018. Thereafter, the respondent-husband has filed
the divorce petition, and the petitioner-wife has got FIR
No.62/2022 lodged under Sections 498-A...
