2. This Court had already heard arguments on the merits of the matter on the last date of
hearing, but had deferred orders in view of the talks of settlement between the parties, which
have not fructified.
3. In the peculiar facts of the present case, we are not inclined to interfere in the impugned
judgment.
4. The appeal is accordingly dismissed. Pending applications are disposed of.
5. At this stage, a request is made for a time up to 29 th February, 2024 to enable the
appellant to pay the amount as decreed in favour of the respondents. It is directed that till the
said date, no coercive steps shall be taken against the appellant in the execution proceedings
initiated by the respondents.
