1. Leave granted.
2. Affidavit of Undertaking dated 11/02/2026 has
been filed by the appellant in compliance with
our earlier order dated 21/01/2026, stating he

would continue to pay the maintenance in terms
of the order passed in that regard as long as
it remains operative. Further, the appellant
paid a sum of ₹1,46,000/- on 05/02/2026 towards
the arrears of maintenance.
3. Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2
confirms this and states that no arrears are
pending as on date.
4. A copy of the afore-stated Affidavit of
Undertaking dated 11/02/2026 shall be furnished
to the learned counsel for respondent No.2.
5. The grievance of the appellant was that the
Jharkhand High Court rejected his plea for
grant of anticipatory bail, vide judgment and
order dated 24/04/2024, in connection with
Complaint Case No. 316 of 2021, registered for
offences punishable under Sections 498-A and
313 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with
Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
