O R D E R
1. In view of the fact that the appellant has
already undergone six years and five months of
imprisonment out of the total sentence of eight years,
the instant appeal is allowed. The impugned order
dated 12.01.2024 passed by the High Court of
Judicature at Allahabad is set aside, and the interim
order dated 01.07.2024, passed by this Court, is made
absolute.
2. Consequently, the sentence of the appellant
shall remain suspended, and he shall continue to
remain on bail during the pendency of the criminal
appeal before the High Court.
3. It is clarified that we have not expressed any
opinion on the merits of the case.
4. All pending applications, if any, also stand
disposed of.
