This transfer petition has been filed by the petitioner (wife)

for transfer of the Divorce Case filed by the respondent (husband),

pending before the Sub-Court at Udumalaipettai, Tamil Nadu, to the

Family Court, Palakkad, Kerala.

Heard Mr. N.D.B. Raju, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner.

The order-sheet dated 06.03.2020 reflects that although

service was effected on the sole respondent, he has failed to enter

his appearance in the matter.

The petitioner is residing with her son at Palakkad, Kerala

and she has also filed a Maintenance case in the Court at Palakkad,

Kerala.

Considering the circumstances in this case and the submissions

advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit

and proper to allow the transfer petition.

Consequently, the H.M.O.P. No.181 of 2019, titled as “Rajan v.

Priyatharshini”, pending before the Sub-Court at Udumalaipettai,

Tamil Nadu is transferred to the Family Court at Palakkad, Kerala.

Let the records of the case be transferred to the concerned

court without delay.

With the above order, the Transfer Petition stands allowed.
