O R D E R
1. This petition has been filed by the petitioner-wife
seeking transfer of the Family Main Case No.146/2025 titled
“Jitendra vs. Sarabjeet Kaur”, pending before the Court of
District Judge, Family Court-2, Alwar, Rajasthan to the Court
of Principal Judge, Family Court, District Malerkotla, Punjab.
2. The respondent-husband, although served with the notice
issued by this Court yet has chosen not to remain present
before this Court either in-person or through an advocate.
3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the
petitioner, we are inclined to transfer the case sought for.
We, accordingly, allow the transfer petition and direct that
the Family Main Case No.146/2025 titled “Jitendra vs.
Sarabjeet Kaur”, be transferred from the Court of District
Judge, Family Court-2, Alwar, Rajasthan to the Court of
Principal Judge, Family Court, District Malerkotla, Punjab.
4. However, if the video conferencing facility is available
with the Court, the benefit of the same shall be extended to
the parties, unless their physical presence is required.
