O R D E R
This transfer petition has been filed by the
petitioner-wife under Section 25 of the Code of
Civil Procedure, 1908 seeking transfer of petition
bearing O.P. No. 1978 of 2020, titled as “Arvind
Singhal vs. Rekha Singhal” pending before the Family
Court, Ernakulam, Kerala State to the Court of
Principal Family Judge, at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Heard learned counsel for the parties and
perused the material placed on record.
Having considered the circumstances in their
totality, the Court is of the view that in the
interest of justice, transfer of the proceedings, as
prayed for, is warranted.
Accordingly, this transfer petition is
allowed and the petition bearing O.P. No. 1978 of
2020, titled as “Arvind Singhal vs. Rekha Singhal”

pending before the Family Court, Ernakulam, Kerala
State is hereby transferred to the Court of
Principal Family Judge, at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Records shall be sent by the Court where
proceedings are pending to the transferee Court
promptly and without any delay.
It is needless to say that respondent shall
be at liberty to file necessary application before
the concerned court seeking permission to appear
