Leave granted.
(2) This appeal arises out of the order dated 17.03.2020 passed by
the Division Bench of the High Court of Calcutta in FA No.48 of 2017 by
which the High Court dismissed the appeal filed by the appellant-
husband.
(3) On the request of learned counsel for the parties, on 13th May,
2022, the matter was referred to the Supreme Court Mediation Centre
to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement of the dispute
between the parties. In the mediation, the matter was amicably
settled between the parties and the Mediation Centre has sent a
Settlement Agreement/Deed dated 13th October, 2022 duly signed by
both the parties and their respective learned advocates containing the
terms and conditions governing the settlement. In terms of the
Settlement Agreement, the appellant-husband has agreed to pay a
total sum of Rs.19,00,000/- (Rupees Nineteen Lakhs only) to the

respondent-wife as full and final settlement towards her maintenance.
Out of the total amount of Rs.19,00,000/-, the appellant-husband has
paid a sum of Rs.50,000/- by online transfer/internet banking and
Rs.4,50,000/- paid through NEFT. As per the Settleme...
