IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CRIMINAL ORIGINAL JURISDICTION

WRIT PETITION (CRIMINAL) NO. 222 OF 2024

SHAIK KHADAR BASHA & ANR. PETITIONERS

VERSUS

UNION OF INDIA RESPONDENT

O R D E R

wife, namely, Mohamed Ismail Fathima Sifana is a Srilankan

citizen. The dispute before this Court is regarding the

visa, which has been denied by the respondent, as a

her two children, who are presently residing in Kadapa City,

Andhra Pradesh.

the rights of the children, who are aged 5, 7 and 9 years

respectively, and their right to see their mother and to be

with their mother, we had requested Mr. K.M. Nataraj,

learned Additional Solicitor General representing the Union

of India to consider the matter sympathetically, if
