1. Leave granted.
2. The appellant is aggrieved by the judgment dated 12.12.2018,
passed by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Indore, whereby the
High Court, in an application filed by the appellant, seeking leave
to appeal against the judgment of acquittal dated 21.11.2017,
passed by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Dewas, Madhya
Pradesh, in Regular Criminal Trial No. 119/12, has declined to
interfere with the said judgment and consequently dismissed the
said application.
3. It seems that the appellant and the respondent knew each other
from their student days. Both were adults when the marriage is
claimed to have been performed between them on 02.03.2008 at Arya
Samaj Mandir, Bhagirathpura, Indore. The respondent, thereafter,
allegedly told the appellant on 10.07.2008 that he had got married
to another woman, namely, Anjali @ Sonu and that he does not want
to continue the relationship with the appellant any further. This

led the appellant to lodge a complaint against the respondent vide
Case Crime No.407/2008, dated 12.07.2008, under Sections 376 and
506 IPC, at P.S. Kotwali Dewas, M.P. The trial took place in which
