1. Leave granted.
2. The appellant challenges the judgment and order dated
dated 05-02-2025 in CRM(A) No. 33/2025 titled “Kiran Biswas &
Ors. vs. State of West Bengal” passed by the High Court at
Calcutta.
3. On 16.04.2025, this Court passed the following order:-
“1. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that if notice is issued, there is possibility of the matter being amicably settled between the parties. 2. In that view of the matter, issue notice, returnable in four weeks. 3. Dasti service, in addition, is permitted. 4. In addition to the usual mode, liberty is granted to the petitioner(s) to serve notice through the Standing Counsel for the respondent(s). 5. Liberty is granted to serve notice upon Respondent No.2 through the concerned Police Station. 6. By way of ad interim order, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail in connection with FIR No.1105 of 2024 dated 13.12.2024 registered at P.S. Kaliganj, District Krishna Nagar, West Bengal, subject to him executing personal bonds for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only), with one...
