The petitioner has filed this Transfer Petition
seeking the following reliefs:
“a. allow the present Transfer Petition under Section 25 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of petition bearing H.M.O.P.No.258 of 2023 (mentioned on District Court’s website as OP with filing no.229/2023) under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, titled K.Thillainataajan v. P.P.Drishya, from the Court of Family Judge, Selam, Tamil Nadu to Family Court, Kannur, Kerala. b) pass such further and other order(s) as this
Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. On perusal of the office report, it is noted that the
service of notice was effected on the respondent on
29.08.2025. However, there is no representation on behalf
of the respondent.
3. In the circumstances, we have heard learned counsel
for the petitioner only.
4. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and
on perusal of the material on record, we find that the
petitioner has made out a case for transfer of the
aforesaid petition.
5. In the result, the Transfer Petition is allowed and
