Respondent(s) (WITH IA No.53516/2022-EXEMPTION FROM FILING C/C OF THE IMPUGNED JUDGMENT) Date : 19-09-2022 This petition was called on for hearing today. CORAM : HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE D.Y. CHANDRACHUD HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE HIMA KOHLI For Petitioner(s) Mr. Fuzail Ahmad Ayyubi, AOR Mr. Ibad Mushtaq, Adv. Ms. Akanksha Rai, Adv. For Respondent(s) UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R 1 The High Court, while dismissing the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, has made certain observations on the manner in which the petition was drafted and the demeanour of the petitioner while presenting the case. 2 Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the only point on which the Special Leave Petition is being pressed is that the petitioner is a young law graduate and the observations which have been made by the High Court in its impugned judgment dated 8 September 2021 may mar his future prospects.

2 3 In view of the above submission, we permit the petitioner to place an affidavit before the High Court tendering an unqualified apology for the manner in which the petition was drafted and even otherwise. The High Court is requested to take a sympathetic view if a genuine apology is placed before the learned Chief Justice on affidavit so as to obviate any adverse consequences in the career prospects of the petitioner in future. 4 The petitioner has stated before this Court that the costs imposed by the High Court have been deposited. 5 Subject to the grant of the aforesaid liberty, the petition is disposed of. No other point on merits has been pressed. 6 Pending application, if any, stands disposed of. (SANJAY KUMAR-I) (MONIKA DEY) DEPUTY REGISTRAR COURT MASTER
