We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. Notwithstanding the fact that the appellant has the two criminal antecedents, they pertain to different offences. The fact remains that the trial is yet to commence and the appellant has already undergone incarceration for more than one year and nine months. In such view of the matter, we are inclined to grant bail to the appellant.
