UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R Mr. Vahanvati, learned Attorney General for India appearing on behalf of the petitioners, states that pursuant to the affidavit filed by the Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra, affirmed on 14.11.2011, the petitioners have explored various avenues to resolve the issue relating to certification of the end- use of the coal supplied by the petitioners. Since such arrangements did not materialize, the Board of Directors of Coal India Ltd. decided to establish a uniform system for verification of users of coal by the consumers by the coal companies and the procedure for such verification has been approved by the Board at its meeting held on 11th December, 2012 and circulated on 29th December, 2012.
